Terms
Last updated: 2026-05-12
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
Scope of these Terms
These Terms govern your overall service relationship with PAULUS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LLC when you visit this website and use ClipCatalog. They are not the sales contract for your purchase and they are not the software license itself — those are separate documents:
- Software license. Your right to install and use the ClipCatalog software is governed by our End User License Agreement (EULA). The EULA is the contract for the software between you and PAULUS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LLC.
- Purchase contract. When you purchase a ClipCatalog license, you are buying from Paddle, our Merchant of Record. The purchase itself — price, currency, payment method, sales tax / VAT / GST, invoicing, refunds, and the EU/EEA/UK statutory right of withdrawal — is governed by your contract with Paddle, not by these Terms. See Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy.
- Privacy. Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
- Refunds. The consolidated summary, including how to reach Paddle's self-serve portal, is at the Refund Policy.
These Terms cover everything else: who we are, how you may use the website, and the general framework that ties the documents above together.
Who we are
ClipCatalog is developed and provided by:
PAULUS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LLC
3833 POWERLINE RD SUITE 201
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. US 33309
support@clipcatalogpro.com
Product
ClipCatalog is a Windows desktop application that scans video folders and builds a searchable library with thumbnails, detected content, and searchable transcripts. Face recognition is optional.
Purchases & payment (Paddle as Merchant of Record)
All purchases of ClipCatalog are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd., United Kingdom, or Paddle Inc., United States, as applicable to the buyer's region), which acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal seller in the purchase transaction. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable sales tax / VAT / GST, refund processing, and chargeback handling. When you purchase ClipCatalog, your purchase contract is with Paddle, and Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms apply to that transaction.
We do not directly process or store your payment information (such as credit card numbers). For details on what purchase-related data we receive from Paddle after a transaction completes, see our Privacy Policy.
Trial
ClipCatalog offers a free trial and an optional 14-day full-library trial extension. The limits, conditions, and license terms that govern both are set out in the End User License Agreement (EULA).
Software license
Your right to install and use the ClipCatalog software — including activation limits, permitted use, restrictions, ownership of the software, and termination — is governed by the End User License Agreement (EULA), not by these Terms.
Website use
You may browse this website to learn about and purchase ClipCatalog. You agree not to use automated tools to
scrape, crawl beyond what robots.txt permits, or otherwise place an unreasonable load on the site,
and not to attempt to bypass security, rate-limit, or anti-bot controls. The text, images, and other content on
this website — including comparison pages, blog posts, screenshots, and marketing copy — are owned by
PAULUS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS LLC or our licensors and are provided for informational purposes only. Brand names and trademarks
of third-party products referenced on comparison pages belong to their respective owners and are used for
descriptive purposes only.
Refunds
Refunds are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. See our Refund Policy for the consolidated summary and instructions for reaching Paddle's self-serve portal.
Privacy
ClipCatalog is designed to be local-first. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer (website information)
Information on this website — including comparison pages, blog posts, and feature descriptions — is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that website information is complete, current, or free of errors. Warranties and disclaimers concerning the ClipCatalog software itself are set out separately in the EULA.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you under these Terms for any claim arising from or related to your use of this website or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the license fee paid for your ClipCatalog license, if any, or (b) USD 100. This cap is separate from, and does not duplicate, the liability cap that applies to your use of the ClipCatalog software, which is set out in the EULA.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, via a notice on our website). Your continued use of this website or ClipCatalog after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Subject to the consumer-protection carve-out below, disputes arising under these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
Consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK. Where the law of your country of habitual residence provides greater protection than Florida law, that law applies.
