Under Article 4(5) of Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 April 2019 (the "European Accessibility Act"), microenterprises providing services are exempt from the mandatory accessibility requirements that apply to larger operators. We have nonetheless adopted best-effort accommodations to make this website usable for as many people as possible.

Scope — website

For clipcatalogpro.com (this website), the microenterprise exemption above applies. The list of steps and known limitations below describes our best-effort accommodations on the website.

Scope — ClipCatalog desktop application

The ClipCatalog desktop application is not within the enumerated product or service categories of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, Annex I), so the Act's accessibility requirements do not apply to it. We nonetheless treat accessibility as a product-quality goal and welcome reports and suggestions at accessibility@clipcatalogpro.com.

Steps we have taken

We have implemented the following on this website to support accessibility:

  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
  • A "Skip to main content" link that appears when keyboard navigation begins.
  • prefers-reduced-motion respected for autoplay videos and animations.
  • Colour contrast meeting WCAG AA targets (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
  • Visible labels on every form field, with accessible names on radio-style chip controls.
  • aria-live regions announcing form submission status and errors.
  • Alternative text on informative images, localised per page language.
  • Keyboard-operable cookie consent banner with role="dialog" and aria-modal="true".
  • Semantic heading hierarchy starting from a single <h1> per page.
  • Per-locale html lang attribute so screen readers pronounce content correctly.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following limitations and may address them over time:

  • Product-tour videos do not currently have captions or transcripts.
  • Some screenshots inside blog posts and comparison pages may have generic alternative text.
  • We have not tested the site with the full range of assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver).
